The renovation work in 2022 has made this house, whose foundations are more than 300 years old, very comfortable and spacious while keeping its authentic character with the typical materials of the Cap Corse (stone roof of lauze, frame and cupboard doors in oak).

The house, 140 m2 on one level, has a large fully equipped kitchen, very luminous with its 3 windows, its large door giving onto the inner courtyard and open on the living room, very pleasant with its blue painted walls, its exposed framework and its marble fireplace. From the living room, a long corridor gives access to the five bedrooms, the two shower rooms, the bathroom and the separate toilet. At the end of this corridor, in the shape of an L, you will have at your disposal a laundry room. Four rooms have double beds (two 140 and two 160) and one has two 90 beds. Some of the rooms have a view of the sea or the scrubland and the largest one has a balcony with a view of the sea. All the rooms have been renovated with great taste and careful decoration, making this house very welcoming, warm, modern and authentic. Outside, you will appreciate the large inner courtyard where you can have your meals, rest in the shade of a laurel tree and have barbecues. Above this courtyard, you will have a large terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the island of Giraglia, ideal for convivial moments, as well as a wooded land of 600 m2.

You can park your car about 2 minutes walk from the house either in the main alley of the Hameau de Botticella or on the side of the RD80. To reach the house from this road, you have to walk down a steep alley (about 2 minutes) which can be difficult for people with mobility difficulties and young children. Moreover, the latter will have to be under the vigilance of the adults when they will be outside the house and in particular on the terrace in height.

At the Hameau de Botticella, you will find a grocery store offering many local and regional products (fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, fish from Centuri) and also home-made dishes. You will also have the possibility of doing your shopping at the mobile shops: the baker who passes every morning at 9:30 am, the butcher who passes once a week, the market gardener will propose you fruits, vegetables and local cheeses. You will be 10 minutes away by car from the beaches of Barcaggio, less than 15 minutes from Centuri and its famous lobster fishing port, and 15 minutes from Macinaggio where you will find all the shops and services (doctor, pharmacy, dentist...) as well as nautical activities and the possibility of renting a boat or going on sea excursions. For nature lovers, there are many hikes to be made in the village and in the surrounding area, including the customs path between Centuri and Macinaggio, which is a must. This house is an ideal location to discover the top of the Corsican Cape. The tranquility, the relaxation and the change of scenery will accompany you during all your stay.
